Free Technical training for jobless youth!

Free technical programmes are to be conducted for the benefit of job opportunities to (jobless) youth in the rural areas within Kanchipuram district in the ‘Dheen Dhayal Upadhyaya Gramin Kausalya Yojana’ Skill & Placement department through Tamil Nadu Rural Lifeline Development Centre.
The training courses with required academic qualifications will be on:
- Sewing machine operation (tailoring) – 5th Standard pass
- Textile (Cloth/dress) designer – 10th standard pass
- Ready-made dress designer – 5th Standard pass
- Beautification & hair dressing – 5th Standard pass
Training will be conducted at Krishna Engineering College near Padappai.
Training on:
- Footwear design clicking – 8th standard pass
- Footwear design closing – 10th Standard pass
Training will be conducted at ‘Aarudhal Foundation’ in Wallajabad.
For the age group between 17 & 35
Retail Sales representative – 12th Standard Pass
Training will be conducted at the Emerge Training centre in the office of Wheats Service Corporation.
Ready-made Dress Design – 5th Standard Pass
Training will be conducted at the Regional Development Centre at Kattankulathur.
Both males & females in the age group between 17 & 35 can join the training.
During the training, a daily stipend of Rs. 100/- and uniforms will be given.
Interested candidates from Kanchipuram, Wallajabad, Sriperumbudur, St. Thomas Mount, Kattankulathur, Thirukkazhukkundram, Thirupporur, Sitthamur, Lathur Union (Cooperatives) can approach the respective regional Development Centres and Office of Women`s plans.
