Delayed payment for government employees this month also!

As some procedural changes are being carried out in the banking process, there has been a delay in releasing the salary for Tamil Nadu government employees and teachers this month also.
There are over 18 Lakh employees in Tamil Nadu government including teachers.
The salary list is prepared by the concerned department official by the end of the month and sent to the department of treasury & Revenue.
Then this list will be sent to the concerned bank and the salary will be directly credited in the employees’ savings account. Usually, the salary is credited wither on the last date of the previous month or the first day of the new month.
As there were successive bank holidays during last month, the government employees received their salaries only on 6th. In this scenario, the salary for this month is also being delayed!
