Panguni Uthiram at Sri Avinankudi Dhandayuthapaniswamy Temple, Palani

The ten days Panguni Uthiram festival at Sri Avinankudi Dhandayuthapaniswamy Temple, Palani began on 28th March with flag hoisting.
Programme for Panguni Uthiram festival are as under
· 2nd April: celestial wedding of Lord Murugan with Goddesses Deivanai and Valli will be performed between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
· 3rd April: Car procession will start at 4.35 pm from Padha Vinayagar Temple at Malai Adivaram
· 4th April: Firecracker festival will take place near Vaiyapuri Temple Tank at 9 p.m.
The temple administration has made elaborate arrangements for the festival. Cultural programmes have been arranged at Kudamuzhukku Mandapam near Malai Adivaram during the festival days. The idols of Lord Murugan and Goddesses Deivanai and Valli will be taken in a procession along Giri Veedhis in the evenings on all the days.
