Diabetes due to heredity

As seen earlier, we have several reasons for diabetes to occur. One of the major reasons is heredity. When parents are diabetic, children are likely to acquire the same. Each of the cells in us, humans contain 23 pairs of chromosomes which in turn contain genes. It is these genes that decide how a person has to look, develop, function and grow.
To be in specific, it is this gene that decides the volume of beta cells that needs to get secreted in ones body. Obeying this, the necessary amount will be secreted. There are possibilities of mistakes to take place during the formative days of these genes. This leads to the health ailments like diabetes. This will further get carried over to their son or daughter.
