Kamal Haasan in the missing Malaysian airline story

Couple of days back, there was news that Prabhu Deva will be directing a film which will have Kamal Haasan in the lead role. It was also mentioned that the film will be a full length thriller.
Now sources say that Kamal Haasan will be donning the lead role in a film which is to be adapted from the novel Velvet Kutrangal. This novel has been penned by the famous novelist Rajesh Kumar. The story of the novel is about the mystery shrouding the missing Malaysian plane.
Kamal who wanted to shoot the entire film in an island had been to Mauritius to scout locations. Now he has returned back after selecting the locations for the film which is to be produced by Vasan Visual Ventures.
Major portions of the film will be directed by Prabhu Deva and some portions will be directed by Kamal Haasan. Both of them had earlier shared the screen in the film Kadhala Kadhala. Since Prabhu Deva is also one of the leading actors of Hindi film industry, this film will also be produced in Hindi.
