Rate of BSNL 3g to get cut down by 50 per cent

The use of smartphone is tremendously increasing to such an extent that it has turned indispensable these days. Smartphones can never exist without 3g data pack which adds worth to the use of high-end phones. While this is the case now, BSNL seems smart enough to attract people towards it with its new move.
BSNL, the government firm is planning to cut down on the cost of 3g data pack by 50 per cent. Speaking about this, Anupam Shrivastava, Director of BSNL said necessary works and expansions will soon be made in order to cut down the 3g data cost. The rate of BSNL 3g will be on par with the 2g rates of renowned brands that are currently charged.
BSNL is in full swing works to expand its phase-7 service and the expansion of phase-8 has just started. Tender for the 8th phase will be announced during the first quarter of this year.
We are currently using over 90 per cent of 3g volume. When we cut down on the cost, the increase in traffic will be very high. To meet this increase in traffic, we are in need of expanding the phase-8 of our network, he added.
