Even before the onset of summer this year, states in Southern part of India are experiencing hot days with temperatures rising on and on. According to experts, the expected temperature during Agni Nakshathiram this year is between 109 and 111 degree Fahrenheit.

We are left with few more weeks for the summer to begin. In general, there prevails subtle heat during days between winter and summer. During these days, the hotness of sun will be felt only in mild levels. This year, things seem contrary as the hotness of sun is unbearable.

The impact of sun in Madurai was too high with 36.2 degree Celsius yesterday. Speaking about this, experts say it is in Nagpur, Maharashtra where the impact of sun will be maximum during the starting days of March. However, this year, Nagpur is receiving good volume of rainfall and other states are badly experiencing hot sun. A huge change has occurred in the routine change of seasons. The changeover in sun in southern states are being monitored for the past twenty years, especially in varied places of Madurai. The maximum temperature here was 80 degree ten years ago, whereas now, it is 89.6.
