Provisional School Certificates to be issued from this year

School Education secretary D Sabitha has mentioned that the Department of School Education will grant provisional certificates with 90 days validity to students clearing the Class 10 and 12 board examinations from the current year.
The provisional (certificate) can be used for obtaining admissions in engineering, medical and all higher education degrees. The provisional certificates will bear the photograph, registration number and mark details of the candidate. The certificates can be downloaded and printed from the website of the School Education Department within one or two days after the results are announced. The candidate must then get the signature of the school headmaster/principal in the certificate.
