Change in suburban train schedule

Suburban trains on the Chengalpet-Tambaram-Beach line will run only till Egmore or Park station on Saturday and Sunday due to line block and power block to facilitate engineering works. On Saturday, 13 suburban trains from 11.56am to 1.50pm will be terminated at Chennai Park and Chennai Egmore stations and will return as passenger special trains to Tambaram and Chengalpet.
In the return direction, 13 trains will be run as special trains form 12.43pm to 3.15pm from Chennai Park or Chennai Egmore railway station to Tambaram and Chengalpet. On Sunday, 14 suburban trains will be terminated at Chennai Park or Chennai Egmore railway stations from 11.50am to 1.50pm and will be returned as passenger special trains to Tambaram and Chengalpet.
In the return direction, the trains will be run as specials from Chennai Park or Chennai Egmore station from 12.40pm to 3.30pm to Tambaram and Chengalpet.
