Chennai Corporation holds consultation meeting on Madhya Kailash flyover

The Chennai Corporation held a public consultation meeting on the proposed Madhya Kailash flyover on Thursday.The meeting was at the School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University, at 5:30pm.
Mayor Saidai S Duraisamy, deputy mayor P Benjamin and Commissioner Vikram Kapur participated in the meeting.
Residents expressed their views on the project in the meeting. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 70 crore. Many motorists say there is severe traffic congestion near the Madhya Kailash temple junction, especially during the peak hours.
