Garlic price goes up in Tamil Nadu!

The price of garlic has increased in Tamil Nadu.
Last week, the price of garlic was Rs. 120/- per kg. Now, the price is Rs. 150/- per kg.
1st quality rural-grown garlic was sold at Rs. 90/- per kg last week. Now, its price is Rs. 110/- per kg.
2nd quality rural-grown garlic was sold at Rs. 60/- per kg. Now, the price is Rs. 80/- per kg.
Traders reasoned that the price rise is due to shortage in quantity arriving at Chennai Market.
