Updates on recruitment for positions in transportation department

Over 1.15 lakh applications are received for positions in transportation department including driver, conductor and assistant engineer.
Yesterday was the last day for submitting applications to these posts. Speaking to one of the officials at the department, he says recruitment is on the go for filling nearly 7500 positions in transportation department of Tamil Nadu. As of now, over 1.15 lakh applications are received. As per orders from the court, the recruitment will also take place through employment exchange office.
