Deep abyss in T.Nagar

Corporation officials went on a mission to close a deep abyss on a road in T.Nagar, Chennai. The 15 feet depth abyss was closed using sand loads of 8 lorries.
The area was supervised by the Mayor and other higher officials. The water supply and drainage board officials also did supervise and inspect the place. The reason for such a deep abyss is studied and the soil testing works are being done.
Official cited the cut in drainage pipeline as the reason behind the abyss. They also added that an amount of 8 lorry mud was used to close it. Owing to this reason, heavy traffic prevailed in the locality.
