Special camp to register in the voters list

A special camp has been organised tomorrow to include new voters’ names and correct existing voters list for the year 2015.
Chief Election Commissioner’s press release:
Activities like registering the names of individuals who would be completing 18 years of age as on 1st January, 2015 and making corrections in the current voters list have been taken up.
224182 applications have been received on-line.
The camps are scheduled on Sunday, 26th October, They will be conducted in schools. Application forms will be given for registering as a new voter or for making corrections. These are to be filled up and submitted.
Officials will be present from 10.00 Am till 5.00 PM to receive the applications.
For the voters residing in districts other then Chennai, they can gather the details from the respective district election officials.
