‘Thaarai Thappattai’ updates

A man with one of a kind uniqueness, a man with that subtle silence – that is none other than Bala. The director is currently in busy schedules for his upcoming movie ‘Thaarai Thappatai’. The next schedule of the film is said to take place in Thanjai. The recent sequences of the film were shot in places in and around Guindy, Chennai.
The movie has actor Sasikumar and Varalakshmi in the lead roles and the script is a completely village based one. Male lead, Sasikumar is given a new facet as a classical musical instrumentalist - he plays Nadaswaram in the movie.
Cinematography is done by Cheliyan and music tracks are by Isaignani Ilayaraja. Director Bala has eyed on exotic and most natural locations of Thanjai for shooting the film.
A hint about the script:
The movie is about the love between the Nadaswaram player Sasikumar and heroine who is a Karagattam dancer.
This being Ilayaraja’s 1000th film is an icing on the cake.
