Request for separate paths for cyclists on sides of the road!

The request from the organisation ‘Terry’ asking for separate paths for cyclists on sides of the road has been accepted.
‘Terry’ is headed by Mr. R. K. Bachori. Terry submitted the proposal to the central minister Mr. Harshvardhan yesterday. This proposal comes with the aim of a ‘greener’ India with more cyclists on the roads.
The minister accepted the proposal and told that physical exercise is essential for good health. Cycling is one of the best & simplest forms of exercise. If cycling is taken up in a big way, most of the diseases can be rooted out.
As a first step, it is essential to provide separate paths for cyclists. Many people have not taken up cycling because adequate road/traffic control does not exist. Hence, all national highways and state roadways should provide a separate path for cyclists.
The minister has written a personal letter to the road transport department to do all the needful. The minister also informed that taxes imposed on purchase of cycles shoals be minimal so that they become easily affordable. Action will be taken to raise the standards of cycles in India to compete successfully in the international arena.
