Sales of Bus and Train Tickets Mount Up
To cast their votes, during this election many people has turned out to their native from various places like Delhi, Manipur, West Bengal and other states. And hence the sale of bus and train tickets goes up, stated travel agency.
Sales of the tickets has raised up to 10 to 20% and tickets have been sold out for various route buses including Coimbatore, Ramanathapuram , Madurai and Sivakasi, said Mohammed Arif, director, Parveen Travels.
During this election, I am fully stimulated and preparing myself for a 9 hour trip to Coimbatore, said S Ranga, a 40-year-old technician. For previous elections, I have been least anxiety to vote since I need to register the vote in my hometown Coimbatore. But this time, I sense the stipulation to vote.
Voters are not just voyaging from one place to another to register their vote. Travel agents mentioned that there is a dangling travel prevails among youngsters travelling from Bangalore to Chennai. They have been following the stockpile to the elections.
