Parliamentary Elections – 500 special buses from Chennai

With Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry elections scheduled on 24th April (tomorrow), 500 special buses are run from Chennai to facilitate persons who have to go to their native places for voting.
The election commission had requested for special buses to be run to facilitate voting for the persons to be in their native places.
Following this, all Transport Corporations have arranged special buses from today evening (23rd April) till early morning tomorrow (24th April) from Koyambedu.
If necessary, arrangements are made for running additional buses.
