Indian Sleep Disorders Association to organize Sleep conference

Sleep conference from April 18-20 is jointly organised by N. Ramakrishnan of the Nithra Institute of Sleep Science and Suresh Kumar, neurologist and sleep specialist, Vijaya Health Centre.
The conference will focus on several advances made in the field of sleep medicine, and lectures will be given by doctors from across the country and abroad.
A workshop dealing with polysomnography, sleep apnoea therapy and paediatric sleep evaluation will be some of the conference’s highlights. Special attention will be paid to pediatric sleep disorders, the release said.
The aim of the conference is to promote awareness about sleep medicine among healthcare professionals as well the public.
A one-year fellowship course on sleep medicine accredited by ISDA will also be offered.
