Does ‘Facebook’ reduce beauty??!!

Now-a-days, youngsters cannot take their eyes away from internet & websites. They sped huge amount of time on the net & social networking sites. It also helps them learn about a extensive range of information. 

The youngsters tend to register their latest feeling and worries immediately on the net – right from  the topic of where to study & what to study to being mentally depressed. 

The researchers note that this habit has its positives & negatives. They say there is some connection between spending excessive time n ‘Facebook’ and losing the facial glow. They note that continuous scrolling on the ‘Facebook’ generates negative mindset. The individuals spending too much time in Facebook tend to increasingly compare their appearance with others. 

This research was conducted with 881 women. The details taken included time spent on Facebook, whether they do physical exercises, and questions on their appearances. 

There is no direct connection between the college girls spending excessive time on social networking and their untimely eating habits. However, it is observed that there is a big change in the appearance of the individuals who are immersed on these websites for long durations. 

The women who spend excess time on Facebook compare their figures when the other women who share their photographs. This generates negative thinking. He funny part to be noted is that some women have told that they spend excess time on the web to lose weight & become slim! Certainly, the long hours spent on the web reduces the glow in their appearance. They get anxious about their not looking so good. They do not focus on proper eating and this affects their mental & physical health. 

The research says that social networking sites have a bearing on the beauty of women. The findings are to be presented in a seminar to be conducted in Seattle, Washington during the 64th International Communication Federation. 

Anything in excess is always dangerous!
