Electoral ID card not mandatory in these elections

Electoral ID card is not mandatory in these elections. . All those whose names are on the electoral rolls would be eligible to vote,in the absence of EPIC, 12 alternative identification documents could be used.
passport, driving licence, service identity cards with photograph issued to employees by central/state governments and PSUs/public limited companies, bank and post office passbooks with photograph, PAN card, Aadhaar card, smartcard issued under NPR, MNREGA job card, health insurance smart card issued by the Union ministry of labour, pension document with photograph and authenticated photo voter slip issued by the Election Commission would be accepted.
Polling officials will distribute authenticated photo voter slips to all electors a few days before polling. To help people who fail to collect the voter slips during the drive, an official would be stationed outside the polling booth to distribute leftover voter slips to voters.
