Anna University to review the current arrears exam system
As per the existing system, students who have arrears of examinations to be passed can write the arrears examination only once a year.

For 2019-20, 393 PG diploma seats to become degree seats in TN
If the Union Ministry gives its approval then in the state of TN atleast 393 PG diploma seats in fields like gynaecology, dermatology and orthopaedics could be converted to degree courses.
