TRAINING PROGRAMME ON DISASTER MANAGEMENT
A training programme on disaster management and school safety for students will be organised by Tamil Nadu Arya Vysya Maha Sabha from August 9 and August 13. The programme is to be organised in association with the 4th Battalion National Disaster Response Force, which was formed to act during calamities.

ELEVATED RAIL NETWORKS ARE LIKELY COME UNDER ONE AUTHORITY
Chennai Metro Rail is likely to take over the operation and the Management of MTRS segment from Southern Railway. This is done with a view to bringing all the elevated rail networks in the city under one Management. Post merger the ‘normal EMUs that run on the MRTS will be replaced by air-conditioned rakes that have automatic doors.

TIDCO JOINS WITH IOC FOR MEGA LNG PROJECT NEAR ENNORE
