With tunneling work nearing completion in the Tirumangalam-Central underground Metro Rail section, work is underway to start the construction of emergency exits between stations.
Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu has mentioned that the Chennai Metro Rail will be launched in March next year between Koyambedu and Alandur section.
