Never drink tea on an empty stomach or else you could get these health issues!!

For the majority of us, the day begins by drinking a cup of hot tea!!. 

We drink tea mostly on an empty stomach. Truth is that drinking tea could provide us with many health benefits like boosting our immunity, boosting our metabolism etc. This would be due to the presence of antioxidants and catechins etc in the tea.

The important piece of information is it is not good to drink tea on an empty stomach and we might get few health issues.

So please be careful if you drink tea on an empty stomach because of these reasons.

Metabolic system gets disrupted:
Our metabolic system could get disrupted if we drink tea in the morning on an empty stomach. This would be due to the imbalance of acid and alkaline substances in the stomach. It could lead to more issues for us.

Dehydrate the body:
The eater present in the body would get eliminated by drinking tea in an empty stomach because of its diuretic nature. Already our body would be dehydrated due to sleep in the night and after getting up we could lose more water by drinking tea.

Bloating:
After drinking milk tea, many of us would feel bloated and this could be due to the high lactose content in the milk. The gut would get affected by this and we could get constipation, gas etc.

Nausea:
Fact is that from night till we wake up in the morning the stomach would be empty. The bile juice activities could get affected by drinking tea in the morning in an empty stomach leading to nausea etc.

Feeling tired and dull:
By drinking milk tea in the morning, we could feel tired and sometimes we might not be able to do our daily activities also.

Unpleasant sensations:
Many of us drink tea in the morning because it gives us energy for the day. It must be noted that drinking tea on an empty stomach could result in dizziness, unpleasant sensations etc.

Anxiety issues:
Not many of us know that drinking tea in the morning in an empty stomach could lead to anxiety and sleep related issues also. It is good to drink tea after eating breakfast.

Reduces iron absorption:
Our body’s natural ability to absorb iron would get reduced when we drink tea in the morning on an empty stomach. It is brought out that those with anaemia shshould not drink tea on an empty stomach as it would decrease the absorption of iron.
