If you are allergic to soy, gluten and nuts etc, then you need not worry!! You can consume flaxseed milk also. When finely milled flaxseeds are mixed with filtered water and other added components, then we would get flaxseed milk.

This flax milk or flaxseed milk is an excellent substitute to dairy milk due to the presence of alpha linolenic acid or ALA in excess amounts with zero cholesterol. Though flaxseed is highly rich in many nutrients, it is not usually preferred because of its taste and flavour. The fact is that flaxseed could easily turn rancid through the oxidation process as it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and ALA. This would lead to flavours and musty aroma.

The intake of flaxseeds would become more convenient when it is processed into milk. The flaxseed milk can be preserved well for a long time and the smell would be nice.
