By limiting salt intake:
There is a relation between too much salt intake and formation of kidney stones. Intake of salt could lead to build up of calcium in urine. It is important that we must reduce the intake of processed foods that have got high salt. Therefore, avoid consuming excess salt.
By avoiding animal protein:
Uric acid gets increased in us when we consume animal proteins. It is good to have plant based sources such as chia seeds, tofu, quinoa etc to be free from kidney stones issues.
By avoiding foods with oxalate:
Formation of kidney stone gets triggered if we eat foods rich in oxalates. Hence it is necessary to avoid beans, berries, beets, chocolate etc that are rich in oxalate.
By saying no to soft drinks:
It is said that intake of carbonated drinks could lead to kidney stones. So, please avoid consuming carbonated drinks as much as possible.
