Not many would be aware of pineapple guava or feijoa. The scientific name by which this feijoa is known is Acca Sellowiana. Found in places such as Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Columbia etc, the plant is a shrub or a small tree. It is amazing to mention that the fruit is green in colour and is ellipsoidal in shape and the pineapple guava or feijoa has got unique flavour.
