Are you aware of these important warning signs of tuberculosis or TB?

For a long time, TB or Tuberculosis has been terrorising people across the world!!

Every day, about 4100 people die due to tuberculosis and it is also responsible for 30000 persons to fall ill. It is worthy to note that tuberculosis is a bacterial infection that affects the upper part of the lung in the initial stages.

It is well known to us that every year 24th March is observed as World Tuberculosis Day. On this particular day, awareness about TB would be spread.

There are few warning signs that would reveal that he or she has tuberculosis. The signs are

Fever:
Persons can get mild or severe health complications due to the weather conditions. Truth is that even in the case of mild fever it is also necessary that the person gets tested compulsorily and it should not be discarded as a harmless sign.

Night sweating:
A person could have the issue of night sweating due to several reasons like drinking before bed, stress, medications, sleeping environment, sweating disorder etc. Not many would know that tuberculosis can also be responsible for night sweats. So, please do not take it lightly when you sweat during the night.

Persistent fatigue:
Never compromise on your health. It is true that our physical as well as our mental health would get affected by compromising health.  It must be taken into note that when a person has high fatigue plus other symptoms then it could also be a sign of tuberculosis.

Sudden weight loss:
Whether a person has good or poor health is often shown by his or her body weight. There are times when a person would lose his or her weight all of a sudden and this must never be ignored. Sometimes, sudden weight loss would also be associated with loss of appetite. This indicates that the person might have a TB condition.

Never ending cough:
Most of the time, the cough we get would go away. Sometimes, a person might have a cough for about 3 weeks also and this must be considered seriously. It might be due to tuberculosis also. The persistent cough could be due to lungs that get affected by tuberculosis.

Chest pain and breathlessness:
It must be noted that when a person has chest pain and breathlessness then it could be due to tuberculosis. The person must consult a doctor immediately.

By following these tips we could avoid or prevent tuberculosis in us. Please take care.

It is a must that the person gets administered with the TB vaccine because this vaccine would be highly effective against the tuberculosis bacteria. Dietary measures, lifestyle regulations etc must be followed by us people without fail and this would improve the immunity levels in us. It is true that strong immunity would help us to fight TB bacteria. By maintaining proper hygiene, allowing proper ventilation etc it would be possible to avoid contracting TB bacteria from the environment. We could avoid getting tuberculosis by not going close to the person who is having a tuberculosis condition.
