Your body shows depression just as much as your mind does. Here are a few tips to help you perk up when you are feeling down.

        Step out into the morning sun. Vitamin D, that is present in sunshine, helps your brain produce serotonin and oxytocin which are anti depression hormones.

        Get massages regularly. Massaging your body helps your brain produce endorphins which are hormones that make you feel good.

        Studies have shown that if you are not that anal about tidiness, your brain produces lesser cortisol. Cortisol is a stress hormone that saps out all the good energy. Be just a little untidy and you will feel better.
