It is known that testosterone plays a huge role in the development of body hairs, voice change plus muscle mass and facial hairs etc. The medical term by which menopause is known is andropause. It is believed that the menopause in males would affect their physical, psychological and sexual functioning plus their immune system.

Men with andropause would have fatigue, low physical strength plus other symptoms like burnout, anxiety, mood swings and depression. Each man would have different symptoms associated with male menopause as it depends on their body condition.

There are also issues like erectile dysfunction, lack of sexual desire etc in some men in this stage. Various complications of andropause are heart based issues and osteoporosis. Important fact is that men would experience gradual changes due to decrease in their testosterone levels whereas women would experience fast changes. Information is that nearly 30 percent of men in their 50s would experience menopause symptoms.

It is important to visit the doctor and the doctor would figure out the causes of symptoms of andropause.

How to treat andropause?
One of the most widely used therapies for male menopause is BHRT or Bone Hormone Replacement Therapy. This process is used when a male is not able to produce testosterone on his own. Indian ginseng or ashwagandha could also be used to treat this male menopause issue. Men with andropause issues must consume foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids and protein. The production of testosterone gets better by these foods.
