As we grow older, everything from the functioning of the brain to walking gets affected. That is the reason why elder persons struggle in their day to day lives.

It is now said that when a person crosses 65 years then his or her immune system gets weakened and he or she is more prone to get health issues. Foreign bodies plus malignant cells present in the system gets removed by the well functioning immune system. There would be regulation of immune responses against external harmless triggers like food etc and this would also be done by the well operating immune system.

A good and well balanced diet having herbs and spices rich in vitamins and minerals could be used to boost the immune system of the elder persons. This would result in strong and capable defense mechanism against diseases and infections.

Intake of brown rice:

Intake of sweet potato:

Intake of spinach:
The immunity of the elder persons could be boosted by the intake of spinach that has vitamin C, K antioxidants plus beta carotene etc.
