Are you having hypersensitive skin, then these would happen to your skin

Different persons have different skin types. There are some who have oily skin and there are some who have dry skin.

It must be noted that hypersensitive skin is multitude of all skin types and is characterized by over reaction to internal or external stressors. There are ways by which a person would be able to protect his or her skin type.

A person having hypersensitive skin would have these issues.

Presence of red flushes:
This is one important signs of hypersensitive skin in us. The cheeks get flushed out easily and the red flushes don’t go away. The redness could be due to factors like alcohol, allergies etc.

Irritations caused by cosmetics usage:
The irritants could penetrate easily through the skin that is hypersensitive in nature. It is said that beauty items like primers, foundations, blushes etc could cause burning etc. It is advised to look out for hypoallergenic products.

Presence of itchy skin:
Hypersensitive skin is also characterized by skin that is itchy and the area that is itchy would be red and bumpy. Gentle moisturizer could soothe the skin.

Presence of dry and flaky patches:
In winter, the skin might feel like lizard type. Many people get affected by eczema that is a type of skin issue and people would have damaged skin barrier that can’t retain the moisture. It is advised to use cream based moisturizer and gentle soap free cleanser that would not wash away healthy oils.

Prone to prickly heat:
During summer, the temperatures and humidity would be very high and this might trigger prickly heat or heat rashes. It is said that by using calamine lotion or some antihistamine medicines this issue could be treated. This is also one sign of hypersensitive skin.

Breakouts:
To compensate for the lack of moisture, dry and sensitive skin would produce extra oil. Clogged pores are created and it could lead to breakouts.

Skin reacting to some foods:
The presence of hypersensitivity skin is also revealed by the skin reacting to the intake of certain foods. Certain foods like red meat, sweets, fried foods etc could trigger redness etc on skin.
