Ideal food items to sustain the scorching summer impact

· Instead of water, start taking water with minerals and salt

· Persons who get exhausted can drink glucose-mixed water.

· Take the juice of fruits such as lemon, muskmelon, watermelon, Apple, and Orange.

· Take tender coconut, Take palm-fruit (nungu) or cucumber.

· Take head-baths in water in both mornings and evenings.

· Rub/massage the body with herbal oil at least once I a week and take an oil bath. This will cool the body heat.

· Also, one may take water mixed with old cooked rice, or gruel, etc.

· In case of having to move out in the sun, rub coconut oil and castor oil on the body.

Items to be avoided

· Eating mango increases the body heat level. So, take a lesser quantity, preferably a small intake in juice form.

· Chicken also increases body heat. It is better to avoid in the summer season.

· Do not eat excess food. Do not take juices/drinks immediately after the food session.

· It is better to avoid spicy/hot food items during the summer.

· Avoid taking artificial/flavoured juices.
