In this coming summer this dry eye syndrome could be a problem for many people

This is the month of February and soon the summer season would be starting in Chennai and in India. It is now said that the coming summer season would be difficult and would affect many individuals health. One such problem that would occur is this ‘Dry Eye Syndrome’.

One important point to be considered here is people often stay in air-conditioned rooms so that they could avoid the extreme heat. This would lead to this ‘Dry Eye Syndrome’ and is confirmed by many eye doctors now.

Dr Soundari who is the head medical services of popular Agarwal’s Eye Hospital spoke about how four persons out of ten are affected by staying in the air-conditioned rooms. This doctor later threw light on the fact that this ‘Dry Eye Syndrome’ increases to 20 per cent from 10 percent during the summer time as people stay in air-conditioned rooms or in rooms without any ventilation.

It is worthy to note that air pollution is responsible for increase in this eye issue and the city of Chennai has got air pollution in plenty.

As a preventive step for this eye issue a person must take enough juices and water plus they must have sufficient sleep. Usage of eyeglasses plus lubricating liquids could also help in prevention of this eye issue.
