Fenugreek seeds –nature’s prescription for diabetes

Why are you dieting? Why do you go to gym? How come you became this lean? Goddamn, these are questions that diabetes brings with it every time.

People seek for natural ways to treat the condition rather than consuming tablets or insulin that they feel better avoiding. Using fenugreek seeds is one among the important ways of natural remedies to diabetes. During the initial states, the patient can consume about 25 grams of fenugreek seeds every day. Split it as two portions and consume 12.5 grams in the morning and the remaining in the night.

Soak the seeds in drinking water and leave it over night, filter it in the morning and drink the water before breakfast. Or, dry grind the seeds. Mix this powder with water or buttermilk and consume it before 15 minutes of breakfast. Fenugreek can also be used in regular food items like Dhosai, Chappathi, Idli, Pongal, Upma, etc. It is more commonly used in south Indian dishes for tempering.

Fenugreek has the nature of reducing the body cholesterol and brings down the sugar level. Though it helps in reducing sugar level, one has to engage in regular exercise like walking or gym workouts in addition to consuming fenugreek seeds.
