Vallur Thermal Power Station – Power Generation Down

A 1000 MW power plant has been installed at Vallur near Ponneri in Thiruvallur district by NTPC & TANGEDCO. The 2nd unit of 500 MW was shut down due to some technical problems. This is the 3rd stoppage within the last 1 month.
MWSSB reminds that the bills should be paid before end of March. The second half tax payment of the running year 2013-14 should be paid before end March.
MWSSB offices will remain open on all Saturdays to facilitate payment. It is advised to pay within the deadline to avoid last minute rush.
