3 Chennai Train Ticket Inspectors Collect over Rs. 1 Crore in Fines from Ticketless Passengers

Three train ticket inspectors working under the Southern Railway, Chennai Zone have made history by collecting fines of over Rs.1 crore from ticketless passengers.
The Chennai Zone Deputy Chief Ticket Inspector, S. Nandakumar, alone has collected fines worth Rs.1.55 crore for the financial year 2022-23. Joining him in the "One Crore Club" are Chief Ticket Inspector Rosalin Arogya Mary, who has collected fines worth Rs.1.03 crore, and Senior Ticket Inspector Sakthivel, who has collected Rs.1.10 crore in fines.
Mary has also become the highest ticket collector among female ticket inspectors across the country. These impressive feats have been announced by the Southern Railway, Chennai Zone, in a recent press release.
