The National Institute of Ocean Technology functions under the central Government of India at Chennai Metro City.
A decision has been taken to fill up the various vacant posts in this organization.
Candidates, right from those who have completed 10th Standard, and graduates of Arts, Science or Engineering are all eligible to apply.
Selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of a minimum of Rs. 20000/- to Rs. 67000/-.
The National Institute of Ocean Technology is functioning at Pallikkaranai, Chennai Metro City.
This organization functions under the control of the Central Ministry of Geology.
The announcement has been released to fill up the various vacancies in this organization! The details:
Total Vacancies: 89
- Project Scientist-II – 4
- Project Scientist – I – 25
- Project Scientific Assistant – 30
- Project Technician – 16
- Project Junior Assistant: 14
Academic Qualifications:
Academic Qualifications for the posts of Project Scientist-II, Project Scientists-!, Project Scientific Assistant, Project Technician, and Project Junior Assistant have been given separately for each category.
As such, the candidates for the above posts MUST have completed B. E., B. Tech., M. Re., M. Tech. in the faculty of Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Marine Engineering, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
Otherwise, the candidates MUST have completed M. Sc. Or Ph. D. in Marine Biology, Marine Scientist, Zoology, Botany, B. Sc. (Computer Science), BCA, B. SC., Diploma n Electrical Engineering, Electrical or Electronics or even a those who have completed a graduate course or completed the 10th Standard are also eligible to apply!
Age limit:
- Project Scientist-I: Under 40 years of age
- Project Scientist-II: under 35 years of age
- For all other posts: under 50 years of age.
For candidates belonging to the SC/ST cade, the concession of 5 years is given. For OBC candidates, the concession of 3 years is given. Differently-abled candidates are given a concession of 10 years.
Monthly Salary:
- Project Scientist-II – Rs. 67000/-
- Project Scientist-I – Rs. 56000/-
- Project Scientific Assistant, Project Technician, Project Junior Assistant – Rs. 20000/-.
Along with the above, HRA (House Rent Allowance) will also be paid.
