Linxon India gets the contract for phase 2 corridor 3 CMRL works in Chennai!!

A contract had been signed now between Mr. Rajesh Chaturvedi, director of systems & operations of CMRL and Mr. Yaseer Hameed Shah, sales director of Linxon India!!
The latest news is that Linxon India has got the phase 2 corridor 3 CMRL contract worth Rs 404.45 crores. It must be noted that Linxon India would be responsible for the design, manufacturing, testing and training of the corridors 3 and 5 of CMRL.
The release has confirmed that Linxon India would be playing a huge role in designing, manufacturing, installation, supply, testing plus commissioning and training of RSS, SCADA, OHE or overhead equipment and switching stations of corridor 3 between Sholinganallur and SIPCOT 2 and corridor 5 between CMBT and Sholinganallur.
Thirty seven elevated metro stations of phase 2 in Chennai would get power supply and OHE functions by this.
It must be noted that phase 2 would cover 9 elevated stations in the corriidor 3 and 28 elevated stations in corridor 5.
On Wednesday, 1st February 2023, CMRL has revealed that in the month of January more than 66lakhs people used metro trains in Chennai. It is sensational to note that on 13th January as many as 2.65 lakhs passengers travelled in the metro trains.
