A new Low-pressure zone over the Bay of Bengal: Prospects for rain in Tamil Nadu on 18th December!

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed us that due to a new low-pressure zone to be formed over the Bay of Bengal, there are prospects for heavy rains in Tamil Nadu from 19th December.
In a notification released by the Indian Meteorological Department in this regard, it is mentioned:
"The low-pressure zone which is formed and prevailing over the southeast Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a strong de[ression zone in the next 12 hours!
As such, there are prospects for heavy rains in Tamil Nadu on 19th December.
As of 8.30 AM this morning (Thursday, 15th December), the rainfall recorded in cm in the last 24 hours: Kanyakumari District Kuzhitthurai – 5, Virudhunagar District Sivakasi – 3, Vembakkottai, Manimutharu – 2."
