The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has estimated that there are strong prospects for a new low-pressure zone to be formed over the southwest Bay of Bengal in the upper layers of the atmosphere on (16th November).

The prevailing low-pressure zone that developed recently over the southwest Bay of Bengal has intensified into a strong depression zone and is drifting towards the southwest Bay of Bengal and the Northern coastal Tamil Nadu areas!

Indian Meteorological Department has further estimated that this strong depression zone is likely to drift further to words northwest and drift towards the Arabian Sea via interior Tamil Nadu districts and Kerala

As such, there are strong prospects for hefty rain in Tamil Nadu today (Saturday, 12th November) and prospects for heavy rains tomorrow (Sunday, 13th November) and the day after (Monday, 13th November).

IMD has further informed us that the rain will abate after 13th November).

In this scenario, the Indian Meteorological Department has further informed that there are solid prospects for a NEW LOW-PRESSURE ZONE TO BE FORMED ON 16TH NOVEMBER!
