First phase counselling results of the UG medical courses announced now in TN!!

Today, 29th October 2022, results of the first phase of counselling for the UG medical courses like MBBS/BDS have been announced in Tamil Nadu. Out of 22504 eligible candidates, as manya s 13822 candidates have locked their choices. It must be noted that the registertions started on 19th of October and completed on 27th of October 2022.
There are a total of 5648 MBBS first years seats available and 5647 seats were allocated as per the government quota and one MBBS seat of IRT (Perundurai Medical College) wards is still vacant.
In this year, as many as 8225 MBBS seats were available for the eligible students are well known. Information is that out of this total 8225 seats as manya s 773 seats are filled under the All India quota, 75 seats are reserved for wards. Out of a total of 2150 BDS available in the state for the first year as many as 30 seats are reserved for All India quota.
On day one, the counselling for the MBBS/BDS courses under 7.5% reservation quota for the students from government schools in TN was carried out. Under the 7.5% reservation quota, a total of 565 seats were available. It includes 459 MBBS seats and 106 BDS seats in Tami Nadu.
