Important information about high speed winds in Chennai now!!

The deep depression has weakened into a well marked low pressure and it has moved towards north TN coast and due this in the next 24 hours there would be winds blowing at the speeds of 35kmph to 45kmph in TN. This was informed by RMC on Sunday. Chennai and neighbouring districts would receive rains.
The director for RWFC, RMC in Chennai Mr. Senthamarai Kannan pointed out that the deep depression over southwest Bay of Bengal weakened into a depression on Saturday over southwest Bay of Bengal & moved south-westwards and weakened into well marked low pressure area over the same region on Sunday. It would move south-westwards towards the north TN coast and would weaken gradually into a low pressure area in the next 24 hours.
For the next 24hours, there would be surface winds of speeds 35kmph to 45kmph in Chennai and in the neighbouring districts. Chennai would have light to moderate rains in the next 2 days.
