New depression that would be formed in TN - Warning regarding cyclone winds!!

It has been predicted by the Chennai Meteorological department that a new depression would be formed in the south western Bay of Bengal and the adjoining equator. Point is that there might be cyclone winds in the south western Bay of Bengal and therefore the fishermen were advised not to venture into the sea.

There would be moderate rainfall in the districts belonging to Ramanathapuram, Pudukottai and Delta etc. The coastal districts belonging to Tamil Nadu would receive light rains till 19th of December and this was according to Chennai Meteorological department’s forecast.

The north east monsoon would bring moderate rainfall today and tomorrow in the delta districts belonging to TN. According to Mr. N. Puviarsan, director, RMC, today in one or 2 places in Ramanathapuram, Pudukottai and Pondicherry there would be moderate rains.

For the next 48 hours, there would be cloudy skies in Chennai and the maximum temperature would be around 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature would be around 24 degrees Celsius.

There are chances for the formation of depression to be formed today on the south western Bay of Bengal. From today till 20th December, winds would be blowing at speeds of 45kmph. Hence, the fishermen have been asked not to go into the sea.
