For the next 3 hours, these districts in TN will receive very heavy rains - RMC!!

The Regional Meteorological Centre or RMC in Chennai has mentioned that in the next 3 hours of time there would be rains with thunder in various districts in TN plus in Puducherry. The northeast monsoons have been responsible for the rains now from Kanniyakumari to Chennai. In some places it has been raining heavily also now.
In the next 3 hours, various districts belonging to TN such as Ramanathpuram, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, Kannaiyakumari, Tenkasi, Virudhu Nagar and Theni etc would receive rains with lightning and thunder. In other districts in TN like Chennai, Chengalpet, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Pudukottai, Sivagangai, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri, Kallakurichi, Nagapattinam, Thiruvaur, Thanjavur, Karur etc would, have moderate rains with thunderstorms in the next 3 hours.
It was announced by RMC that Puducherry and Karaikal would also have rains and holiday has been given to the students belonging to the schools and colleges. Point is that the people have been asked not to come out of their houses unnecessarily. The public have been asked not to stand under the trees or inside old buildings to avoid rains etc.
Information is that the residents have been asked to use rubber slippers while using electrical items in their houses as water would be present inside the switch boards etc.
