Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre: Prospects for heavy rain in Chennai, Kanchipuram, and Chengalpattu districts today!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Department has informed that there are prospects for very heavy rain today (Saturday, 27th November) in 10 districts of the State of Tamil Nadu including Chennai, Kanchipuram, and Chengalpattu.
Due to the cyclonic format developed over the upper layers of the atmosphere, there are prospects for very heavy rain in the districts of Ranippettai and Thiruvallur.
It has been informed that there are prospects for heavy rains today (Saturday, 27th November) in the districts of Villupuram, Thiruvannamalai, Vellore, Thirunelveli, Thoothukkudi, Ramanathapuram, and Kanyakumari.
