Many registrations for TET exam

The Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB) has received many applications for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be held in August.
‘2,65,568 candidates have registered for paper I, meant for those intending to teach classes I-V. For paper II, meant for those intending to teach classes VI-VIII, 4,19,898 candidates have registered. July 1 was the last day to submit applications. The board was still in the process of consolidating and ascertaining the final number of candidates as some candidates might have applied for both papers. Unlike in the previous two examinations, paper I and paper II are being held on different days. While paper I will be held on August 17, paper II will be held on August 18’, said a TRB official.
