Rains for another 4 days in Tamil Nadu!!

Mr. N. Puviarasan, director, RMC has informed that the south west monsoons plus due to the heat waves would be responsible for the moderate rains after 27th July in the districts like Nilgris, Coimbatore, Theni, Dindigul, Tenkasi etc.
Interior districts in TN plus coastal districts, Puducherry, Karaikal etc would have rains with thunder storms in some places. He then spoke about how on 28th, 29th and 30th those 5 districts closer to the Western Ghats would have light to moderate rains in one or two places and those places near coastal districts would have moderate rains with thunder and lightning etc. Chennai would be cloudy and there would be light rains in some places in the city.
It must be noted that Bandhalur belonging to the Nilgiris district received 16cm of rain till 26th July morning8:30 A.M. Ten cm of rain was received in Devala and 9cm of rain in Uthukottai belonging to Tiruvallur district.
Information collected is that there would be strong winds up to 40 kmph to 50 kmph till 28th July in the north-eastern, central-eastern parts of Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea and on 29th, 30th in the north-western parts of Bay of Bengal etc. The fishermen have been asked not to venture into the sea.
