Thiruvannamalai Lord Arunachaleswarar Temple - Girivalam banned on ensuing Full Moon Day!

The Full Moon Day in the current Tamil Calendar month of Aadi, considered sacred, occurs from 10.35 AM on Friday, 23rd July and concludes at 8.48 AM the ne3xt day on 24th July, Saturday.
However, the DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION HAS BANNED THE UNDERTAKING OF GIRIVALAM BY THE DEVOTEES ON THE ABOVE 2 DAYS!
- At the same time, devotees are permitted to have the Darshan of the Lord Arunachaleswarar from 5.30 AM till 8.00 PM.
- ‘Dharma Darisanam”; and the ”Special Darshan” (Paid) devotees are allowed through the Eastern Rajagopuram entry.
- Similarly, devotees of “Special Darshan’ of special payment are allowed to enter via the Northeast Ammani Amman Gopuram.
